In Western Australia, QR National delivers products to the ports of Geraldton, Fremantle, Kwinana, Bunbury, Albany and Esperance.

Along the east coast, our bulk freight operations service customers in the South West and Central Queensland regions, as well as extending up into the North West Queensland minerals province, running from the Port of Townsville to Mount Isa.

With an extensive fleet of locomotives and wagons, our significant scale allows us to meet the significant variability and flexibility within our customers’ supply chains.

We use our expertise in heavy haul and bulk transport technology to provide our customers with safe and reliable solutions that increase capacity and enhance business performance across the supply chain.

In addition to managing heavy haulage operations for our customers , our bulk haulage capabilities extend to fleet planning and optimisation, supply chain solutions and the transportation of dangerous goods.

Future Growth - new contracts

• Australian Vinyls Corporation: Five-year multi-million contract for the company’s bulk and domestic and international containerised freight and distribution requirements
• Queensland Gas Corporation: Rail haulage contract with coal seam gas explorer and producer Queensland Gas Corporation for the transportation of steel pipes from Brisbane and Gladstone to central and southern Queensland.
